Man shot at party in Middle Island: Police - OnTownMedia.com & OnSachem.com

MIDDLE ISLAND, NY (OnSachem.com / OnTownMedia.com) — A man was shot early this morning during a party inside a store in Middle Island, Suffolk Police said.

According to police, officers from the Sixth Precinct in Selden responded to a 911 call at about 3 a.m. reporting a man shot at a store inside a strip mall at 200 Middle Country Road, which is across the street from the Middle Island Fire Department.

As of 12:30 p.m. Sunday, police declined to release then name of the establishment in the strip mall where the shooting occured.

Police said the victim, Domain Martin, 21, of Middle Island, was transported in a private vehicle to John T. Mather Memorial Hospital in Port Jefferson with non-life-threatening injuries.

The investigation is continuing. Police ask anyone with information to call the Sixth Squad at 631-854-8652 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
