SALISBURY, Md. – Officials say students at Salisbury Middle School are currently being moved out of the school due to reports of an odor inside the school Tuesday morning.
We’re told that in addition to the odor, several students and staff members have complained of not feeling well. Out of an abundance of caution, students and staff are being moved from the building at this time. 8th grade students are being bused to the Salvation Army on Jersey Road, while 6th and 7th grade students and students in the classrooms of Ms. Smith-Hasson and Ms. Eitner will be moved to the Wicomico High School auditorium.
Parents and authorized family members wishing to pick up their students may do so starting at 11 a.m. at the above locations. Transportation arrangements will be made for any students remaining at the end of the school day.
We will have updates as they become available.
