
PARSHALL, N.D. – A man walking in the middle of a northwestern North Dakota highway before sunrise was seriously injured after he was struck by two vehicles.
The highway patrol says the crash happened about 5:30 a.m. Monday on state Highway 23, about 3 miles northeast of Parshall.
A 49-year-old man, from Parshall, was wearing dark clothing. The patrol says the man was struck first by the left mirror of a truck, which knocked him down. He was then run over by an SUV. The pedestrian was taken by ambulance to a Minot hospital. His condition is not known.
