That's our #12
On Sunday, senior forward Peyton DePriest scored her 50th goal against the Huskies to break the C-USA record for career goals scored and become the C-USA all-time leader in goals scored. A mark that had been held by Marquette's Kelly Roethe from 1996-99.

DePriest also currently leads the NCAA D-I in career goals scored for student-athletes that have played their entire collegiate career at the Division I level with 50 goals scored throughout her five-year career.

Scouting the Blue Raiders
The Blue Raiders enter Friday's contest with a 3-2-1 record and on a two-game winning streak having earned victories this past week against Detroit Mercy and Houston Baptist.

Seven players have scored for the Blue Raiders so far this season, led by DePriest with four goals, while sophomore Taylor Hamlett has found the net twice this season through six games. DePriest also leads the Blue Raiders, as well as the C-USA in shots (33) and shots on goal (13) through six games this season. Senior Miya Lennon leads Middle Tennessee in assists, having dished out three this season.

Junior Hannah Suder has played five games in goal for the Blue Raiders in 2021, playing 470 minutes and tallying a team-leading 20 saves this season.

ETSU is currently in its second season under head coach Jay Yelton. Yelton has helped lead the Buccaneers to a 3-7-1 record over his pair of seasons at the helm.

The Buccaneers enters Friday's contest with a 2-1 record and are coming off a tough 1-0 loss against Radford on Sept. 2.

The Buccaneers are led by Katie Philips and Sydney Somogyi who each netted a score in the team's first two contests of the season. Kendall King and Maegan Sours lead ETSU in assists, each dishing out one through the Buccaneers first three contests.

ETSU's Shu Ohba has played all 281:58 minutes in net for the Buccaneers this season, tallying six saves and a pair of shutouts through the team's first three contests this season.

Last Time Out
The Blue Raiders are coming off an impressive performance against Houston Baptist on Sunday, securing a 3-1 victory over the Huskies.

DePriest broke the C-USA record for career goals scored during the contest, netting her 50th career goal over her five-year career.

Hamlett put the Blue Raiders up early, scoring in the second minute off a dime from Sam DeBien to put MT up 1-0.

Shortly after, Sam DeBien netted a goal of her own and her first of the season from a great throw in by Lennon and a perfectly placed ball from DePriest to give the Blue Raiders a 2-0 advantage six minutes into the match.

The Huskies brought the game back within one in the 25th minute off a penalty kick, however, DePriest's record-breaker in the 47th minute put the game out of reach as the Blue Raiders locked in on the Huskies to hold them scoreless through 65 minutes of play to claim their second-straight victory, 3-1.
