The honor marks the third of her career and the first for the Blue Raiders during the 2021 campaign.
The Franklin, Tennessee native helped lead a Middle Tennessee Blue Raider offense to back-to-back wins this week, defeating Detroit Mercy 2-1 on Thursday, before closing the week with an impressive 3-1 victory against the Houston Baptist Huskies on Sunday.
Against the Titans, DePriest recorded her first assist of the season and committed five shots in the contest. On Sunday, DePriest scored her record-breaking 50th career goal and tallied an assist for three points on five shots, including three on goal, against the Huskies.
In the 67th minute, DePriest took a pass at the halfway line, beat the last defender and powered the ball into the right bottom corner of the net to break the C-USA record of 49 goals, set by Marquette's Kelly Roethe (1996-99).
The record-breaking goal marked her team-leading fourth goal of the season and placed her tied for second most in C-USA through six matches. DePriest leads C-USA in shots (33) and shots on goal (13) so far this season.
