North Texas experienced heavy downpours of rain and strong gusts of wind as a summer storm rolled through the area.
In some parts of Dallas-Fort Worth, hail up to the size of golf balls was reported, the National Weather Service said.

The weather service issued several severe thunderstorm warnings for Dallas, Collin, Denton and Tarrant counties that expired throughout the late afternoon.
Once storms weakened, the main concern for the affected areas was heavy rain, gusty winds and lightning, the weather service said.
Due to the heavy rain, the weather service also issued a flood advisory for southeastern Tarrant County and eastern Johnson County until 8 p.m. Sunday.
A storm passing through northeastern Tarrant County had reports of ping pong ball-sized hail, the weather service said.
The rain is part of a rare summer cold front that will relieve a streak of high temperatures that will continue into Monday morning, according to KXAS-TV (NBC5).
The rest of the week will be cooler with highs in the low to mid-90s. Temperatures will be on the rise heading into the weekend, NBC5 said.
