A vehicle crashed through the front of an Asbury Park driving school while the driver was trying to parallel park, police said Thursday.
The crash occurred around 12:20 p.m. Monday on Main Street, according to authorities. The driver was initially stuck in the vehicle, but was removed unharmed, officials said.
“It appears that while the driver was attempting to parallel park, he backed up onto the curb and then into the storefront of ML Driving School. One summons issued for careless driving,” Sgt. Michael Casey said in a statement.
Monnier Lavarin, an owner of ML Driving School, told the Asbury Park Press that the driver had no connection to the school.
There were no reported injuries, police said.
