TENNERTON — Tygarts Valley Middle School swept Buckhannon-Upshur on Saturday.
The Bulldogs took the lidlifter, 15-1, and the nightcap by a score of 15-10.
Jacob Wamsley had two hits and three RBIs in the first game for TV, while Kaden Moore had two hits and two RBIs and Austin Wilson two RBIs.
Moore went all six innings to get the win as he allowed just one run on six hits and struck out seven.
Wade Cabaniss had three RBIs and two triples for the Bulldogs in the second game and Wilson three hits.
Austin Teter, Adam Woods, Moore and Avery Sponagule-Row added two hits apiece.
Wamsley got the win on the hill in 1 1/3 innings.
Woods and Kendall Armstrong finished in relief.
Tygarts Valley (3-0) is slated to host Elkins at 6 p.m. today.
