SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Good morning and happy Friday eve! After luckily seeing the severe weather threat for the large part bust Wednesday we are tracking much cooler weather moving into the ArkLaTex behind the cold front. In addition to the cooler weather we did see a decent amount of dust from the southwest getting pulled into the region thanks to gusty westerly winds. High temperatures will be in the 60s through Saturday when our temperatures will start to rebound. Our next major chance for rain does not come until next Tuesday when we are tracking another front. It remains to be seen at this point whether or not we will have any severe potential with that front.
