A cold front will move across North Texas on Friday bringing some rain to the east, and a chance of spotty showers to the rest of the region. Temperatures will be lower in the mid to upper 60s with a gusty north wind. You may need a jacket Friday afternoon.

The weekend will be quiet with plenty of sunshine and highs in the 60s. Another chance of showers and thunderstorms will arrive by Wednesday of next week.
