WKU earned a 69-60 victory against the Thundering Herd in Diddle Arena on Sunday. The young Lady Toppers showed the poise of a veteran team, bouncing back from a 27-point loss in Huntington and using a 12-0 run late in the fourth quarter to secure the win.
  • Through 10 games, Fatou Pouye is WKU's leading scorer, averaging 12.6 points per game. Raneem is averaging 18.5 points per game, but has played in only two contests this season. Ally Collett is putting up 9.5 points a game and Hope Sivori is scoring 9.2 points per game.
  • Meral Abdelgawad leads WKU on the boards, averaging 8.4 rebounds per game. Sivori leads the team in assists, averaging 3.8 helpers per game.
  • Raneem Elgedawy returned to the Lady Topper last week against Marshall. She missed the first eight games of the season. In the second game she scored 20 points.
  • It will be a clash of strong offense versus strong defense on Friday and Saturday. WKU's 65.5 points per game allowed is fourth lowest in the conference while Middle Tennessee's 77.5 points per game scoring average is the top mark in the league.
