LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - Our stretch of overcast days carried over into Sunday as some light showers in the early morning hours quickly moved out, leaving the afternoon dreary but warm with highs that topped out around 70. The warmer temperatures were the result of a warm front that has lifted north of our area this evening, bringing breezier southerly winds that will continue to remain occasionally gusty through the evening and overnight. This could curtail the fog a bit, but sea fog will again be a problem for coastal areas and even farther inland later tonight.
