Packers decorating holiday tree in front of Lambeau Field - Packers.com

worldinmiddleeast.blogspot.com

Although a formal tree-lighting and family friendly holiday event will not take place at Lambeau Field this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Green Bay Packers are still decorating a 46-foot evergreen tree in front of the Lambeau Field Atrium to help celebrate the holidays.

The tree, which was donated by Green Bay resident Jennifer Johnson and family, was harvested this week and erected by Miron Construction on Harlan Plaza. The family said they are excited their tree was chosen so they can share it with the community during this holiday season. They have decorated it each December with lights and each spring with plastic Easter eggs, and it has provided a home for many birds over the years while growing larger and taller.

The decoration of the tree will follow in the next several days with more than 10,000 lights.

In recognition of providing a tree for the holidays, the family will receive a $100 Packers Pro Shop gift card.
