The Blue Raiders were led by Francisco Rocha and Max Rauch who went 2-0 on the day, teaming up in doubles for the lone Raiders win. Rocha defeated South Carolina's Daniel Rodrigues (6-2, 6-3), who was ranked No. 46 in the ITA ranking system earlier this year. Rauch clinched his indoors singles match by taking down Beau Pelletier (7-5, 6-4). Andreas Kramer also collected a singles win over Carter Morganin in straight-sets (7-6, 6-3).
MT will return to action on Saturday against Mississippi State with more doubles action, followed by singles play.
