Coronavirus case sends Bethlehem middle schoolers, teachers into quarantine - Times Union

Several classes at Bethlehem Central Middle School are being quarantined after an individual who was at the school tested positive for the coronavirus, the school district reports.

BETHLEHEM — Several classes at Bethlehem Central Middle School are being quarantined after an individual who was at the school tested positive for the coronavirus, the school district reports.

School officials say the Albany County Department of Health's investigation showed there was the possibility others were exposed at the middle school, leading to the decision to quarantine students and teachers in several classes.

As a result, the district says all students in the eighth grade's Patroon House will switch to remote learning on Monday and Tuesday.
