CARTERVILLE (WSIL) -- Wow! Quite a stormy night for many in Southern Illinois and Southeast Missouri as a weak cold front settled in from the north.
That cold front will settle along the Ohio River later this morning, ushering in slightly cooler, less humid air in Southern Illinois. Farther to the south, the heat and humidity will be higher near the stalled front.
A few storms are also possible this afternoon near and just to the south of this boundary, likely in the Pennyrile region of Western Kentucky and Northwest Tennessee.
Don't get too comfortable! Meteorologist Nick Hausen is tracking heat and humidity set to return for the weekend. Tune in for the latest on News 3 This Morning! We've got you covered!
