Dreamers in Hudson County — where more than 40% of residents are immigrants — said they gained hope Thursday upon learning that the U.S. Supreme Court upheld the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program.
The Hoboken City Council unanimously passed a sweeping medical marijuana ordinance Wednesday, opening the door for two dispensaries near the PATH Station. Plus, indoor malls in New Jersey will be able to reopen at the end of the month after being shuttered in March due to the coronavirus pandemic.
In Sports, Jersey City’s Lincoln Park will host the Last Dance Baseball Tournament next month. The tournament gives high school seniors one last chance to play with their teammates after missing the 2020 season because of the coronavirus pandemic.
