Delaware State Police are investigating social media threats made against Skyline Middle School in Pike Creek late Sunday evening.
Parents and students can expect an increased police presence at the Red Clay school Monday morning.
School administrators were notified Sunday evening about an Instagram post in which a man threatened to "shoot up Skyline tomorrow." Administrators notified Delaware State Police, who began investigating, Principal Frank Rumford said in a written statement.
Screenshots of the post have been widely circulated on Facebook.
