U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is calling on Saudi Arabia to support a thorough, transparent investigation into the disappearance of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi, a U.S. resident and Washington Post columnist. A friend of Khashoggi's, foreign policy analyst Rula Jebreal, tells VOA if reports are confirmed Khashoggi was murdered in the Saudi consulate in Turkey, the U.S. government should stop selling arms to Saudi Arabia.
