The U.S. State Department is calling on Saudi Arabia to pursue the prosecution of top officials and members of the royal family in a “fair and transparent manner.” The reaction comes after a sweeping purge of top Saudi officials Saturday by Saudi King Salman and the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, known as MbS.
