Unseasonably warm Sunday ahead of next cold front - The Dallas Morning News

Sunday will feature more clouds, and highs once again in the mid to upper 70s, with a breezy south wind developing.

A strong cold front will move into North Texas just after midnight Sunday bringing a chance of showers and even a few thunderstorms, most likely between 2 am and 7 am early Monday morning. Expect windy and much cooler conditions behind the front on Monday. Highs will drop to the 50s which is much more typical for December, with increasing north winds to 25 mph.

Following the cool down, a warm up is expected mid to late week ahead of the next cold front.
