Rhinelander - The Oneida County Sheriff's Office partnered with the School District of Rhinelander to investigate a school threat at James William Middle School in Rhinelander.
Reports on Tuesday, Dec. 14th showed threats of violence for Wednesday, Dec. 15th at the middle school.
Local officials interviewed the students involved in the threat and determined it false.
The Sheriff's Office said the student that made the false report will be dealt with accordingly.
Both the School District and the Sheriff's Office appreciate the assistance within the community as the safety of the students and the community is of the utmost importance.
