Big weather changes are ahead this week with the arrival of a mid-week cold front. Much cooler weather and rain chances are on the way after today. In the meantime, however, today looks quite nice with sunny and warm conditions. Highs will be in the mid to upper 70s for most locations. The wind will stay light.
Tuesday will bring a major weather change as a cold front moves in during the day. This front will create a wide range in temperatures across North Texas. Much cooler air will edge into DFW by late morning, while warmer air hangs on to the south. Afternoon temperatures will only be in the low 60s and upper 50s for many locations. A chance of showers will arrive late in the day. More widespread rain will push in Wednesday with temperatures staying in the 50s all day.
The rest of the week will be quite chilly as well. Lows in the 30s are possible toward the end of the week. Right now, the weekend looks sunny and cool.
