CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Today warmer temperature could be seen across the state compared to yesterday as the Jetstream has moved farther to the north. As a result, the Wyoming wind was back in the forecast. It remained calm on the eastern side of the state, but the central and western regions can expect gusts over 30 or even 40 MPH going into the evening hours. The second cold front starting to make it’s way from the west coast will keep our winds up for the remainder of the week. If you didn’t experience strong winds today, you will probably have them tomorrow. While the temperatures were on the warmer side today, it might not have felt like it. The breezy conditions and overcast skies certainly don’t help with that.

With the Jetstream moving all around because of constant cold fronts, wind gusts can reach over 40 MPH in some locations and will be constant over the next few days.(Jordan Frazier)

There are also lots of scattered rain and snow showers from the western to the central regions. Much of the snow on the radar is sticking to the far west or higher elevations where temperatures today are below freezing. Overnight, the central part of the state can see some flurries and possibly a light dusting, but nothing much in terms of accumulation. It is still too early and too warm in the season to much of it stick around unless the front is really strong and has a lot of moisture.

We can expect some scattered rain and snow showers tomorrow morning, but it should clear out by the afternoon leaving us with nice and clear conditions.(Jordan Frazier)

Tonight, temperatures will be a little bit on the warmer side for this time of year. That is due to mostly overcast skies and some places expected scattered showers. Tomorrow, temperatures will not warm up much compared to the lows. Overcast skies and isolated rain and snow showers will still be present until the afternoon when it is expected to clear out. This will just be the beginning as that new front will be coming through causing our temperatures to drop even more going into tomorrow overnight.

With the second front making it's way through, high temperatures tomorrow will not be all that different from the lows overnight.(Jordan Frazier)
