Middle Tennessee Soccer adds three more to class of 2022 - GoBlueRaiders.com

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee Soccer head coach Aston Rhoden announced the addition of three more key players to the Blue Raiders 2022 class on Friday, adding Taijah Fraser, Lebargy Manon, and Jacqueline Reilly. The signees hail from Canada, France, and Michigan.
 
Taijah Fraser
F | 5-4 | Brampton, Canada | St. Edmund Campion Secondary School
 
Fraser, a native of Brampton, Canada, joins the Blue Raiders from St. Edmund Campion Secondary School.
 
In addition to soccer, Fraser also competed in track and field, basketball during her junior season and was in dance as a sophomore. Fraser helped lead her high school to a DPEAA Basketball Boards Championship in 2017-18. She also was a 2017-18 DPEAA Boards 100-meter relay champion and finished as a 2017-18 DPEAA Boards 400-meter runner-up. Academically, Fraser was named to the 2017-18 St. Josephine Bakhita honor roll and the 2019-20 St. Edmund Campion Secondary School honor roll.
 
Fraser competed at the club level with the Toronto Blizzards from 2016-19, Erin Mills during the 2019 summer season, and is currently playing with Vaughan Soccer Club since 2019.
 
During the 2021 season, Fraser helped lead her team to a 2021 League 1 Ontario Reserve championship. Fraser was selected to participate in CONCACAF, as well as the FTF top-60 girls in Ontario showcase and was a member of the 2020-21 U17 Jamaican National Girls Team. In 2019, Fraser finished as her team's leading scorer and finished within the top 3 of her league, helping lead her club to a 2019 GHSL u16 League Cup Championship, 2019 U16 Regional Championship, 2019 U16 Ontario Cup Finals. She was a 2018 PHDL U15 District League Cup Champion and was a 2017 YRSL U15 Cup and League Champion, as well as a member of the Ontario Provincial 03 soccer team her freshman season in 2017.
 
Off the pitch, Fraser was a 2015-16 DPCDSB dance champion, 2014-15 St. Josephine Bakhita public speaking first-place finisher, and earned the 2009 Brampton Citizen Award.
 
While at Middle Tennessee, Fraser plans to major in pre-law.
 
"Taijah is a smart and creative forward capable of playing anywhere across the front and in midfield," coach Rhoden said. "She is good one-on-one and can unlock defenses with dribble penetration and with her vision. Taijah will be a fun and exciting player to watch."

Lebargy Manon
M | 5-6 | Lille, France | Lycรฉe Jean Perrin
 
Manon, a native of Lille, France, joins the Blue Raiders from Lycรฉe Jean Perrin.
 
In addition to her soccer career, Manon also competed in handball, badminton, volleyball, and ping pong. Manon graduated with honors from her high school.
 
Manon competed with Lille Olympique Sporting Club (LOSC or Lille OSC) for six years. Manon has scored three goals in five contests this season.
 
"Manon is a technical and creative attacking midfielder with exceptional ball retention skills, and the vision to break down compact defenses," expressed coach Rhoden. "She is also very versatile and capable of playing as a forward. With her experience playing at a high level in France she will be an asset to our young team.

Jacqueline Reilly
F | 5-7 | Okemos, Mich. | Okemos High School (Oakland University)
 
Reilly, from Okemos, Michigan, joins the Blue Raiders as a sophomore transfer after having played her freshman and sophomore seasons at Oakland University and following her career as a two-year letterwinner from Okemos High School.
 
At Oakland, Reilly appeared in 21 games and received 10 starts over her two-year career at Oakland. She recorded three goals, including the game-winner against Youngstown State her freshman season, and a pair of assists for eight points for the Golden Grizzlies. Reilly was appointed as her leadership council class representative, which is Oakland's version of captains, as well as serving as the team's Student Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC) representative. Academically, Reilly has maintained a perfect 4.0 GPA.
 
During her time at Okemos High School, Reilly played in 19 contests, scoring 15 goals, and dishing out six assists during her sophomore campaign. As a freshman, Reilly scored 10 goals and tallied seven assists. She was named to the 2018 Lansing State Journal's Mid-Michigan High School Girls' Dream Team, 2018 CAAC D1 All-Conference Team, 2018 All-District Team, 2018 All-Region Team, and was named an All-State Team honorable mention as a sophomore. Her first year with the Chiefs, Reilly was named to the All-Conference Team as an honorable mention and the D1 All-District Team. In the classroom, Reilly was awarded the 2017 & 2018 All-Academic Award and was a member of the National Honor Society from 2018-20.
 
During her last two years of high school, Reilly competed with Michigan Hawks Soccer Club from 2018-20. She also played for TNT Soccer Club from 2013-15 and Chill SBC Soccer Club in 2010-13.
 
Reilly plans to study English secondary education during her time as a Blue Raider.
 
"Jackie is a versatile forward with a nose for the goal," said coach Rhoden. "She shoots well with both feet and is very good at bringing others in the attack. Her ability to play in different positions will allow us to have greater flexibility in our attack."
