No. 20 WKU Volleyball Welcomes Middle Tennessee to The Hill - WKU Athletics

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - No. 20 WKU Volleyball continues its 2021 C-USA schedule as Middle Tennessee visits The Hill on Friday and Saturday. WKU is off to a 16-1 start to the season and has swept its last nine matches. The Tops are 52-16 all-time against The Blue Raiders, including a 17-match win streak starting in 2011.

Both weekend matches will be streamed for free on Facebook Live via the Hilltopper Sports Satellite Network (HSSN) Facebook page with Brett Williams on the call. The matches will also be available on CUSA.tv, Conference USA's home for live events, for fans who elect to subscribe.

As is the case for every Hilltopper match this season, all the action will also be available on the radio with Brett Williams on the play-by-play call. Friday night's match will be on 98.3 The Edge in Bowling Green while Saturday's contest will be back on ESPN Radio 102.7.

WKU Volleyball's 37-match conference winning streak is the longest of the sort in NCAA Division I. Texas is in second at 26 while the only other team with a streak above 20, coming in at 22, in High Point. The Hilltoppers also own the longest road winning streak in all of NCAA Volleyball with 19-straight wins.

The Tops have claimed sole possession of the No. 20 spot in this week's AVCA rankings. They visited FIU two weekends ago, as well as Eastern Kentucky the following Wednesday before hitting the bye weekend. Middle Tennessee is coming off of a weekend where it won back-to-back matches against FIU, beating the Panthers, 3-1 on Friday and 3-2 on Saturday.

MTSU is off to a 7-5 start to the 2021 campaign and owns the second-best record in C-USA's East Division at 5-1. In last year's abbreviated season the Hilltoppers and Blue Raiders squared off in Murfreesboro. WKU took both matches, earning two sweeps.
