Town of Salina, N.Y. — A car was reported to have crashed through the front door of the Walgreens on Brewerton Road, firefighters said.
The accident was reported just before 1:30 p.m., according to a Facebook post from the Hinsdale Volunteer Fire Department. The Walgreens is located at 2616 Brewerton Rd. in the Town of Salina.
The driver, a 42-year-old woman, was attempting to park in a space directly in front of the entrance when her 2016 BMW abruptly accelerated forward over the curb, Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Sgt. Jon Seeber said. The woman attempted to brake, he said.
The car continued through the automatic glass doors into the front vestibule of the Walgreen and then through a second set of automatic glass doors, Seeber said. The car collided with several merchandise displays and anti-theft sensors before coming to rest inside the store, he said.

No tickets have been issued at this time, Seeber said. Alcohol and drugs have been ruled out, he said.
No one was injured in the crash, Seeber said. An ambulance was dispatched to the scene, according to Onondaga County 911 Center dispatches.
Fire crews helped extricate the vehicle from the store and secured the building with town codes.
