Sawgrass Springs Middle School Holds Gator Boot Camp for New Students - Coral Springs Talk

Sawgrass Springs Middle School is getting ready to welcome new gators into the swamp. 

The school will host a voluntary Gator Boot Camp for incoming sixth graders and other new students Thursday, Aug. 5. 

Boot camp is meant to give students an introduction to the school in smaller settings. It gives students information on the school’s layout, information on programs and school layout, and the school’s people. 

There will be extracurricular organizations, specialized subject guides, and one-to-one student-teacher help sessions. 

The session for sixth graders will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. For seventh-graders and all other new students, a second session will be held from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
