NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a double homicide.
It happened in the Middle Sound area of New Hanover County, at a home in the 6000 block of Providence Road.
The sheriff’s office wrote on Facebook that “this is an isolated incident and we do not believe there’s any threat to the neighborhood.”
According to tax records, the home belongs to George Taylor III, founder and COO of TRU Colors Brewing. He is not one of the shooting victims.
No word yet on the names of the two people shot, their identities will not be released until family members are notified.
