Wednesday will be mild and breezy ahead of Thursday’s cold front with highs in the 60s and 70s. Expect south winds of 15 to 25 mph gusting to around 30 mph today and tonight.

On Thursday, a strong cold front will move across North Texas from north to south during the day. Expect even milder temperatures ahead of the front in the 60s and 70s. However, behind the front temperatures will fall into the 50s and 60s with a gusty north wind.

Friday through the weekend will be dry and much cooler. Highs will be in the 50s Friday and Saturday, and only in the 40s on Sunday. The cooler than normal weather will be with with us through next week.
