Happy Friday, y'all! We were able to sneak in intervals of sunshine through those pesky clouds that have really put a damper on the forecast these last several days.
A nice evening is shaping up with temperatures holding in the 70s.
Low temperatures overnight Friday and into Saturday morning will drop back into the mid and upper 60s.
We will see more of an onshore flow on Saturday which means it'll be a tad warmer out there as highs reach the mid 80s under partly cloudy skies.
With a southerly flow back in place, that could also help to spark off a stray shower or storm for areas south of I-10, but rain chances will sit no better than 20%.
Same can be said for Sunday as highs top out a degree or two warmer than Saturday.
Next weather system for Acadiana arrives for late Monday as a cold front looks to swing through.
Expect a few showers and storms to develop out ahead of the front on Monday afternoon before cooler, fall-like temperatures arrive for the rest of the week.
A reinforcing front looks to push through late next week which will keep the beautiful weather in the forecast heading into next weekend as well! Y'all enjoy!
