Man fatally shot in front of Westin Galleria Dallas, police say - The Dallas Morning News

A man was fatally shot in front of the Westin Galleria Dallas early Sunday, police said.

Police responded to a shooting call at the Far North Dallas hotel about 2:45 a.m. and found a man near the service road in front of the hotel with a gunshot wound.

The man, whose identity was not released by police, was taken to a local hospital, where he later died, police said.

Witnesses told police that a group of men in a dark-colored sedan had shot into a white vehicle in front of the hotel and that both cars had fled the location.

There are no suspects in custody, and the investigation is ongoing, police said.
