Israel is seeking to expand its pool of experts in the language and policies of its arch-enemy Iran, through a project of a retired Israeli general who has found a new calling in the classroom. VOA Persian’s Michael Lipin reports from the only school in Israel not far from Tel Aviv, where kids are learning Farsi in the hope of defending their country from Iranian threats while seeking to understand the Iranian people.
